How does the update of the spam database work?

To maintain an up-to-date spam database, the Clever Dialer app must run in either the foreground or background on iOS devices. Users receive a notification prompting them to open the app for an update. Upon opening, the app immediately updates the database if an internet connection is available. Manual updates can be initiated by clicking the update button on the start screen as well.
